Streamlined Analytics Limited (“Streamlined Analytics”, “we”, “us” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.
This privacy statement explains how we collect, use, store and disclose personal information when you use our website, applications or services, or otherwise interact with us.
Information we collect
We may collect personal information that you provide to us, including:
- your name and contact details, such as your email address;
- your organisation and role;
- information you provide when contacting us or making an enquiry;
- account information when you use one of our applications or services;
- information associated with payments or subscriptions; and
- other information you choose to provide to us.
When you use our website or applications, we may also collect technical information such as your IP address, browser and device information, pages visited, and application or server logs.
Providing personal information is generally voluntary. However, some information may be required for us to create an account, provide a service, process a payment or respond to your request. If you do not provide that information, we may not be able to provide the relevant service.
Website analytics and cookies
We use Google Analytics and Cloudflare Web Analytics to help us understand how our website is being used and to improve our website and services.
These services may collect information about visits to our website, such as pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser information, IP address and how you arrived at or interacted with our website.
Google Analytics may use cookies or similar technologies to collect information about website usage. You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings, although doing so may affect some website functionality.
How we use your information
We use personal information where reasonably necessary to:
- provide and operate our website, applications and services;
- create and manage user accounts;
- respond to enquiries and communicate with you;
- process payments and manage subscriptions;
- provide support and maintain our services;

Information provided by our clients
Some of our services allow organisations to provide or upload data for processing, analysis, reporting or visualisation. This data may sometimes contain personal information.
Where we process personal information on behalf of a client, we use it only to provide the services requested by that client and in accordance with our contractual and legal obligations. The organisation that provided the information may also have its own privacy obligations and privacy statement that apply to that information.
Information collected from other sources
In some circumstances, we may receive personal information about you from another organisation, a client, a publicly available source or another third party.
Where required by the Privacy Act 2020, we will take reasonable steps to let you know that we have collected the information, why we collected it, who may receive it, and how you can access or correct it.
Where your information is stored and processed
Personal information held within our applications and systems is primarily stored using DigitalOcean infrastructure.
We also use a limited number of external services that may receive or process information when you use particular features of our website or applications:
- DigitalOcean provides infrastructure used to host our applications and store information.
- Cloudflare provides website, network and security services and Cloudflare Web Analytics.
- Google Analytics provides website usage analytics.
- Mapbox provides mapping services. Information associated with your use of interactive maps may be sent to Mapbox as required to provide those services.
- Stripe processes payments for users who use our paid services. Payment information required to process a transaction may be provided directly to Stripe.
These providers may process information outside New Zealand. Where the Privacy Act 2020 applies to an overseas disclosure of personal information, we will take reasonable steps to ensure the information is appropriately protected and comply with the requirements for overseas disclosures.
Sharing your information
We do not sell personal information.
We may disclose personal information to the service providers described above where it is reasonably necessary to operate our website or provide our services.
We may also disclose personal information:
- where you have authorised us to do so;
- where necessary to provide a service you have requested;
- where required or permitted by law; or
- where necessary to protect our rights, systems or users.
Storage and security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against loss, unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration and misuse.
No internet-based service can be guaranteed to be completely secure, but we design and operate our systems with the protection of your information in mind.
How long we keep information
We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, or where we are required to retain it by law.
When personal information is no longer required, we will securely delete it or anonymise it where reasonably practicable.
Accessing or correcting your information
Under the Privacy Act 2020, you have the right to ask us for access to personal information we hold about you and to ask us to correct it if you believe it is inaccurate.

If we become aware of a privacy breach, we will assess and respond to it in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020, including notifying affected individuals and the Office of the Privacy Commissioner where required.

We may update this privacy statement from time to time to reflect changes to our services, technology or legal obligations. The latest version will be published on our website with the date it was last updated.
